It’s always great when we can make lifelong friends through our sport. Our team has travelled up and down the country and made wonderful friends from the top of Scotland and even across in Ireland. Now, we’ve been asked to spread the word a little as one of the clubs up near Glasgow is in need of a little support. The club has found that they are in great need of structural repairs, and need a bit of help funding the operation. The structural repairs needed are quite extensive and it would be great if we could help them out so they can get these fixes made in time for both winter coming, and in time for the next season! It would be sad to see another club go due to lack of funding.
How We Know The Group
As we have already said, you have all taken part in many of our trips, especially up to Scotland. We have all enjoyed many a night in the city of Glasgow, meeting with our friends there and enjoying a great game of bowls. They are all a lot of fun and wonderful people. This is why we would like everyone to dig deep and help them get these structural repairs sorted and keep playing.
What Structural Repairs Are Needed
The club in Glasgow has discovered that there is extensive damp in their clubhouse, where they have all of their events, socialise and the clubhouse has been there for many, many years. Buildings like this bring a club together and help them grow as a team. Due to the damp and the age of the building, they will need to repair wall cracks and have the place damp proofed to avoid this happening again. This will be a huge undertaking for our friends up north. At the moment we don’t know how much the structural repairs will cost but we’d ask if you could dig deep to help them out!

As you can probably guess, the Glasgow club is going to need all the help they can get in order to get back to competing with us and many other friends in the next season.
